The Act amends the code section relating to notorial acts to clarify the powers and duties of notaries public; to change the requirements of performance of notorial acts; the exempt real property documents from the date requirement and to provide retroactive effect as to certain documents; to provide for subscription
The Act empowers any governmental unit or instrumentality in the State to initiate proceedings, bring causes of action or seek judicial relief pertaining to property to the same extent nongovernmental parties may do so.
