About the Journal

The Georgia State University Law Review is a legal journal comprised of second- and third-year Georgia State University law students who demonstrate outstanding writing and academic skills. The Law Review edits and publishes four issues annually, which contain articles written by scholars, practitioners, and students.

The fall issue features a compilation of student-written articles, known as Peach Sheets, that offer a review of Georgia’s legislative developments. This review provides the legal community with an in-depth view of the Georgia General Assembly’s activities, the legislative intent behind significant bills, and an analysis of the potential effects of noteworthy Executive Orders.

The winter and spring issues feature articles from scholars and practitioners on new and significant issues in the legal community. These issues also publish the best student notes written by Georgia State Law Review members.

The summer issue features shorter articles focusing on the topic of the Law Review’s annual Symposium.
